| At Colby all students
receive the individualized attention they deserve in order
to reach their full academic potential. In general,
students who begin Colby below
grade
level are performing at grade level by the end of the year,
sometimes gaining two or more full years of progress in one
year. Students who begin Colby performing above grade level
continue
to gain
skills and knowledge above grade level at a pace best suited
for them, but are generally taught within their social peer
group. Skipping grades is relatively rare at Colby. Students
who begin
Colby at grade
level generally end the year at a half to a full grade higher
than the national average. |
