Our Board of Trustees serves as one of
the components of our governing structure. The Colby School
is governed
using the circular model. The Parent Co-op, Board of Trustees,
and Faculty Council are the three governing bodies of The
Colby School. Our School Director serves as the liaison between
these groups. When relevent, the Colby LLC also becomes a
part of the our governing structure. The Trustees are mainly
concerned with ensuring the viability of our school financially
and oversee the maintainance of our facilities, distribution
of scholarships, and community outreach. The Trustees meet
monthly and meetings are open to the Colby Community.
