Role of Parents

One of the great strengths of The Colby School

is the commitment of its parents. At The Colby School parents

are true partners in the education of their children.

The parent volunteer group, the Parent Co-op, exists to

further the school’s

vision through a combination of volunteer work, fundraising,

and coordinating special events. Parents take on a variety

of roles depending on their interests. Some parents are

active

in

the classroom while others prefer a volunteer role on special

interest committees.
